Tip #1: Establish Credibility

Establishing credibility means creating trust and improving your image in the eyes of potential clients and customers. There are many ways to do this:

  • Write a Book or Articles
  • Press-Releases
  • Celebrity Endorsement
  • Public Speaking
  • Charity Events


Some of these methods may be unfeasible, or you may be uncomfortable with others. However, these provide an effective, value-based alternative to traditional advertising.

Tip #2: Customer Service

This may be a no-brainer, but we can’t emphasize enough the importance of treating your customers right. Focus on the little things like friendly greetings, smiling faces, helpful employees, professional phone acumen and thanking them for their patronage. This one simple tip can mean the difference between a customer and a customer-for-life.

Tip #3: Hire A Professional

So many businesses get this one wrong. When your expensive car needs repair, you take it to a certified mechanic, right? Or if you need medical attention, you go to a doctor (we hope). So why would you trust your business’ image to anybody other than a professional? The public sees right through amateur work immediately, and it can hurt your reputation and cost you customers.
